How to Get Informed & Get Involved

•	Get your email address added to Dr. Kelly's email database. You will be sent the daily announcements each day and you will get the weekly Principal's Pen Newsletter. Just contact PTSA with your email address.
•	Contact SMHS club & organization parent sponsor and campus sponsor. See Clubs page an new SMHS web site.
•	Read the SMCISD newsletter on the SMCISD web site.
•	Attend School Board meetings - every third Monday - 6 pm at the Administration Building, 502 S. LBJ Drive in the Board Meeting Room. See Board of Trustees page at the SMCISD web site for more information.
•	Join PTSA and attend PTSA meetings - every second Monday - SMHS Library, 6 pm Download membership form here. (PDF)
•	VIPS - "Volunteers In Public Schools " If you have a few hours to spare and would like to volunteer on SMHS campus, send PTSA your name , interest and contact information. PTSA works with SMHS Administrative Staff to put together a VIPS contact list each year. There are lots of way to volunteer on campus and make a difference in your child's education environment.
